¿Por qué utilizo Arduino en mis proyectos? // Why do I use Arduino in my projects?

Hello Hive colleagues, today I want to tell you why I use Arduino with my students to explain programming/electronics.

Arduino is widely used today for several key reasons that have made it very popular among many hobbyists, teachers, and professionals in the field.

Ease of use: Arduino offers an accessible platform for beginners and experts alike. Its development environment (IDE) is intuitive and easy to set up, allowing users to program and upload code to the board with relative simplicity. THE GREAT ADVANTAGE OF ARDUINO IS BRINGING PROGRAMMING AND ELECTRONICS TO EVERYONE.

Extensive community and support: Arduino has a very active global community. This means there are a plethora of resources available, including tutorials, forums, code examples, and libraries that facilitate learning and problem-solving.

Affordable cost: Arduino boards are relatively inexpensive compared to other development platforms. This allows more people to experiment and develop projects without a large initial investment.

Flexibility and compatibility: Arduino is very versatile and can be used in a wide variety of projects, from simple educational experiments to complex applications in robotics and automation. Additionally, it is compatible with a large number of sensors, modules, and components, further expanding its usage possibilities.

Open-source code and hardware: Arduino is based on an open-source code and hardware philosophy. This means that the schematics and source code are available for anyone to use, modify, and improve. This openness fosters innovation and collaboration.

Here we have several Arduinos with the Atmega SMD and others with the insertion Atmega (the classic one)

Educational platform: Many educational institutions (like the one I currently work at) use Arduino as a teaching tool in electronics, programming, and robotics courses due to its accessibility and the abundance of available resources. It is an excellent platform for learning the basics of programming and electronics in a practical way.

Rapid prototyping: Arduino facilitates the prototyping process. Developers can quickly build a functional model of a device or system, which speeds up the development cycle and allows for rapid iterations.

Interdisciplinarity: Arduino is used in a wide variety of disciplines, including art, music, biomedicine, engineering, and sciences. This ability to integrate into different fields has increased its popularity and allowed a diverse range of people to use it in their projects.
