Dark and Moody
Good Morning I hope life is treating you all well
As those that have followed me for a while I like to share a lot of bright and vibrant photos particularly at or around sunrise, but of course as int he warmer months i tend to go out most mornings I dont always catch the nicest of days and some days its downright dark and moody, on those days I tend to walk more and take less photos but I still take photos none the less and I thought for today I would share a selection of images from morning walks that fit into the dark and moody catergory
NOw when I added this photo to the post I was thinking it was a shot taken on the harbor walk, but seeing the yachts in the foreground I realized it was a shot from on Popes Island, I was fooled because i saw the Wind Turbine construction site in shots at first and I mostly see that on the Harbor walk

Now do not get the impression its always moody on Popes Island I have seen some gorgeous sunrises there

OK I have moved on this shot was taken one morning down at the port, when the fog rolls it it can change the whole feel and mood of the port

I am not 100% sure where i took this one perhaps on popes island the fog was deep that morning

Now I was thinking when about to finish off this post that one might say these were more Dark and perhaps the moody wor disnt covered, now I think it was but to play it safe I found edited and added this last shot not so dark but moody

Neat and clean! Is it a DSLR camera? Have you been using Manual or Auto? And which settings for the night view? Thanks. I still use an old Olympus e420

I do shoot manual sometime sparticular for night or early morning light, but often also use Aperture priority mode

Dark and moody is definitely where I am at right now. This post really hits me. Great photos, it's a snowy rainy day in Michigan today.

I am not really dark and moody myself today we are finally having a few days where the temp creeps above freezing point and may melt away the ice from the recent snowfall
I am shallI say aprehensive to see what the cardiologist says this afternoon
I hope it all goes well for you. After the snow we are getting today we have a bit of a warm up. They are calling for 45 by Thursday next week!
they are saying were going to hit 53 tomorrow so thats a nice change
Didnt go as good as I hoped there is some blockage but how much they are not sure so I have a cardiac Catherization scheduled for the 15th to find out, if not to bad they will just check it out and leave it alone so I can have the surgeyr, but if the blockage is more than they fele is OK for surgery they will clear it and put in a stent and surgery will have to wait 6 months, and thats if there is just one blockage but she said that they will review after the catheretization
Ugh, that is horrible. I am so sorry. Hopefully the easier option is what ends up happening for you.

Yeah, not quite the news i hoped for, the stress test showed some restriction of blood flow under stress, so the cardio Dr wants me to do a Cardiac catheterization
if during the procedure the blockage is not to bad and surgery vcan go ahead they will leave it as is, if not then they will check all arteries to heart and asses whether clearing and stents is the way to go and if so do it then, if mlockages too much then they will discuss bypass surgery
Of course I am hoping for the first option not to bad a blockage :) and then surgery can be scheduled again
but in the meantime they also want a Lung Dr to review me since i have COPD

I like the tugbout in the dark but that last shot is awesome. That pier going out into the gloom. The start of a scary or difficult journey...

The first one was dark, but not moody. It felt peaceful :)
The others were, in some ways, especially the last one. You probably enjoyed a good hot cup of coffee after that walk!

When we are dark and in a bad mood, our photographs are impregnated with it and with deep and hidden emotions, as you can see when you show the fog in the harbor. I was very reflective and thoughtful about your images. Greetings my friend! I liked your work very much
