RE: WTF: Fire and Ice

Hybrids are like living in flats - all the worst of a house, and a unit combined.

When it comes to EVs, I am hoping to hold out until the solid state or hydrogen are introduced and viable locally. The EV charging in Finland is no issue at all already - but the cost of electricity keeps climbing.

Yeah, I have to assume that at some point, it's going to be really hard to sell your ICE car - in a similar way it's hard to sell a manual/stick-shift car today. It's not impossible, but there just aren't many buyers out there.

If it does get really hard, that potentially informs our buying decisions 5-10 years beforehand - ideally you're not buying a car that'll be really difficult to sell when you want to change.

I'm hoping we can stay a single car family and that our 12 year old ICE car has another 8-10 years left in it - and then go EV, but we'll see how that goes.
