Decentralized web is the only way, not centralized, government-backed, corporations. This is going to end up a mess for most people, but they won't see it early enough to make a change.

Totally agree. What makes the current environment interesting is that many web3 projects are building a decentralized metaverse, but the hardware to tap into that is all coming from centralized web2 titans. As long as the decentralized web wins, these corporations will be forced to tap into them rather than have their own walled garden.
