The Super Mario Effect is basically make learning fun and exciting, which may lead to learning more and having more success. Trick the brain, so that you keep on trying. Just like when I kept failing a test, until the topic became fun

What? Learning some boring subject becomes more interesting when you fail the exam more times? :) :) Btw. I thought that you didn't fail any... :)

Thanks for sharing the video... I like the comparison with the gamepad... It is like that... People like to solve "complicated" things...

Have a great weekend!

Hahahaha no... I failed the test so many times because I didn't understand a thing, but I didn't do anything different every time. Until I changed one or two things: started way earlier with studying and watching YouTube videos about the subject. Those were way more engaging than those notes and books 😅😂

And of course I've failed stuff hahahahaa
I can write a book about my failures in life 🤣🤣

But it's indeed true. I like a challenge and when there are no consequences; like the subtractions of 5 points each time; I'm more likely to keep trying.

Yes, enjoy the weekend!

"Becauze it makes it seem like you have to endure your want to quit."

Wow, this is new way to look at it. As for the "Super Mario Effect" I heard about it before... Probably from Extra Credits.

This concept/theory is indeed not new, but I never put a name to it, until I saw the video. And he had statistics to back up his theory.

I should also try to make some tedious tasks in my life more fun 😅

Yup! The stories he tells are good too, and proves that it works!
