Rightly said! Although there may be nuances to it, as in the things of the past happened in a different circumstances. History for the most part, tends to repeat itself, in another shape or form. So understanding and being aware of what happened before is really a great way to equip ourselves with the right information to break cycles that no longer serve us well or even prevent ourselves from subconsciously creating new cycles that have more disastrous impacts on the future.
