IF I COULD BUILD IT // THE MEMORY-ENHANCE TECH
The world of technology is fast evolving and creating an era of possibilities. It is thrilling to think how the world will turn out in a decade with an abundance of new techs. The world has revolutionized tech so well that anything could be made a reality through technology out of the figment of one's imagination.
When I saw this prompt, it piqued me what must be running through the initiators mind to bring about the topic. But then again, I thought to myself , " Aren't we all looking out for convenience and easier life?" Sure. Then it would be good to already have pictures of what we want so we can chase it.
Three days ago, I was jolted awake by some movement in my room. It was my sister, she just came in. In the same sleepiness and nervousness with which I awoke, I asked her if it was 10pm yet. She said it was way past that. That it was minutes from 11:30pm. I jumped up from the bed in even more anxiousness, murmuring "how, it can be, just now nwo, why did I not wake up..." As I went about grabbing my laptop, wifi, phones, and extension, as I made my way hurriedly to my work table.
Here's the thing, I was late for work. My shift was to begin by 10 pm, and I was late. I work a remote job for a tech company that is quite strict with the rules and can not afford to be late.
Days before that, I had almost missed out on the weekly debrief cause I had the dates and events mixed up. This has been something of concern for me. Even away from work life.
So when I saw this topic, I thought about how efficient it would be to have something that helped with this phase.
And then I began to think in the lines of developing something that would function as a Memory Booster/Reminder. I imagined that it would be designed in a way such that it alleviate the burden of forgetfulness that plagues many of us.
I imagine rhar it would be a wearable device, perhaps resembling a sleek wristband or a stylish piece of jewelry. Then, embedded within it would be advanced sensors, just somewhat capable of detecting some level of brain activity patterns associated with memory encoding and retrieval.
For more capabilities, it could include an app that allows users to input important information, such as names, dates, or tasks they want to remember. The device would then use this data to prioritize memory enhancement for these specific items. It runs with a reminder that beeps non-stop until it is acknowledged.
Imagine that i am studying for an exam or thar I was preparing for a big presentation. Instead of relying solely on my natural memory abilities, i could use this memory booster to boost my retention of crucial information. In a way, I think that it would be helpful to individuals who are experiencing some memory decline or disorder.
Overall, it's key function would be to help users enhance their ability to remember and recall information with ease.
Certainly, ethical considerations and safety would be put in place when developing the device inorzer to ensure that the privacy of the user is respected, no moral/ethical principle is bypassed and overall efficiency and safety is established
That is it for the Digi-Prompts contest #017 with the topic "If you can build it."

Ahhh. That’s a great idea and your experience makes it more relatable. I would buy something like that if I had the source and if it existed
Right??
We could all use something like that. It would come in very handy.
Have something like that to remind us is very important. The fact you can relate it to your experience made it even more useful.
It sure will be helpful.
