RE: A Modern form of Alchemy

I would guess that early alchemists were very much persecuted for their work. This probably kept the science hidden and developments slow. Interesting though. Artificial gold you say? Is it detectable from the real stuff?

Great that you are also interested in this occult science :) That's true, at certain times even so much that they were forced to carry out their research in underground laboratories and a good example is the city of Prague, where some of them can still be visited and it was particularly difficult in general for female alchemists who were particularly strongly persecuted and were often defamed as witches and even burned.. The alchemists were very skilled in finding symbolism and encryption methods in order to be able to communicate with each other and so they could keep their recipes secret and exchange them without others noticing. Yes, it is possible to produce gold artificially, but the effort is very complicated and is in no proportion to yield or costs and furthermore you need equipment such as a nuclear reactor and particle accelerators. Wish you a good day dear @summertooth
