Hi Chinito. Thanks for stopping by. I like talking about technical things that seem complicated, but aren't actually that complicated, and they're also used very frequently in the design sector.
This diagram is named after Benoît Paul Émile Clapeyron and has several applications. I've listed some below:
- internal combustion engines (Otto and Diesel cycles);
- gas and steam turbines;
- industrial compressors;
- refrigerators and heat pumps;
- thermoelectric power plants and energy systems.
So, in the design industry, this graph is used a lot.
