That's cool. It's hard to comprehend these distances. We really are just a speck in the 'ether'.

In the words of Douglas Adams:

“Space is big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mind-bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist's, but that's just peanuts to space.”

Nice to see you still include Pluto. I hear there may be others out there of a similar size.

Its definitely incomprehensible! And the world of the 'small' is even bigger! imagine this: between an atom and our galaxy, the midpoint in scale is a red blood cell.

Pluto, of course! The pantheon is not complete without the god of the underworld. Pluto has been demoted to a dwarf planet... it also has such extreme elliptical orbit that at times it is closer to the sun than Neptune.

I was taught to remember the planet order with the phrase:

Most volcanoes erupt mouldy jam sandwiches under normal pressure

It doesn't work without Pluto.
