iPhone 15 Overpriced? ( Specs )

So, guys, today is one of the most anticipated events in the technology community and maybe for any technology and gadget enthusiast around the world – the Apple September event. This is where Apple usually unveils their new iPhones and truly sets the tone, including the prices, for any new smartphone that comes after. Of course, this is the biggest achievement for Apple because they are the leaders who set the tone, and everyone else follows suit. Perhaps, at first, they try to steal the spotlight by poking fun at some of the new features, but they end up adopting them later.
So let's see what they have just unveiled.

Apple Watch Ultra 2

  • Will be powered by Apple’s new S9 SiP, which has a four-core neural engine, as well as a second-generation “Ultra Wideband” location chip.
  • Upgraded display from the previous Ultra model, rated for 3,000 nits, which is 50 percent brighter than the first Ultra
  • Apple claims that users will get 72 hours to a charge when the device is in low-power mode. It can be used for recreational scuba diving as low as 40 meters, as well as freediving — and the Depth app now saves logs of each session.

My takeaway from this event is that, of course, Apple probably has the best marketing team in tech, and this is being proven because they know exactly what kind of words to use. They are using the most trending words: AI, Machine Learning, Carbon footprint, renewable energy, etc.
As for the phones, I find them to be a significant improvement over the previous iPhone 14. I'm really curious to see that camera in action, but at the same time, I find them to be really, really expensive.

The only significant change I see is the type C port. They've finally succumb to the pressure to include it. The camera of course will have some fancy additions, the design remains the same and nothing more. The hype of owning the latest iPhone is why some people will choose to buy it.

Apple are really good at marketing and will keep creating this experience that many want to be part of. It's definitely expensive, considering that there isn't much fundamental change from previous versions.

I just got a 14 Pro Max last year. Literally the only thing that makes me want the 15 Pro Max is the 5x lens… otherwise it’s a hard pass for me because I only upgrade every 4 years or so usually. My previous one before 14 Pro Max was an XS and a 6 Plus prior to that. I’m a patient man.

Yeah upgrading every year is just too much and unnecessary. I believe the camera would be awesome

Trade-ins make it doable, but even then you are constantly paying a monthly payment, that's how they get ya. I still just pay out of pocket in full anytime I upgrade. It's what seems smartest for me.
