I remember an instance from my childhood, when an imposter pretending to be my neighbours friend trick a good amount of money from the lady at home. The imposter was smart enough to convince the lady that, her husband sent him to collect the money. He was so confident and positive that it didn't took more than 15 min to go away with the amount.

Now time has changed a lot, with the passage of time we have seen a lot of mthe technological advancement. The imposter are now find many differrnt ways of tricking peoples. The recent developments in the field of Artificial Intelligence has made Tricking more easier for the imposter. While the Deepfakes videos circulating over the social media is causing some serious concern and brings us the darker reality of the technologies. Now the AI based voices scams is creating panic to common people. The imposter find it is easy to clone anyone voice and trick people through differrnt ways. Scammers are leveraging advanced technology to create AI-generated fake voice calls that sound quite authentic.

There are plenty of sophisticated AI voice cloning tools available online and it takes only three seconds of audio to create a voice clone that is virtually indistinguishable from the real voice. Scammers are running away with this idea and try to convince people with fake voices. It is important to stay informed, here are some of the ways to protect yourself from fake voice call scam :

• It is importsnt to "verify" callers identity. Anything suspicious you may put some personal question that they know. It is a kind of secret code, or personal information. .

• Refrain from clicking any links received on your phone, either in texts box or whats app. Espcially when the source is unknown.

• Avoid entertaining "Unknown Calls". Ignoring unknown numbers is the safest way to prevent any phishing attack. You vm an verify the caller number through official websites

• Be safe by not disclosing the personal information to any unknown number over the phone.

• Blocking the unknown number from which we are getting frequent calls. It will not let the calls to reach out to you again. And you remain in peace.

• Scammers also try to get hold of the One Time Passwords (OTPs). Better to avoid any remote access requests helps from any unknown person.

• Many people rely on the callers id. However the scammers are smart enough in disguising numbers through caller ID. IT is better to not blindly rely in any caller ID app I stalled on the phone.
