Have you heard of "slack"? Well I never heard of it before too, but recently heard of its widespread usage in the business for communications system. Slack, a versatile messaging app launched in 2013 and designed for businesses. Recently it has emerged as a powerful tool to streamline communication and collaboration within teams in big business organisation. Now the first question that arise, why slack? And why not whatsapp, or #discord, or #Google meet etc?

In todsys competitive era of different communication system, each one of the apps try to get on top of others. 3ach of them laces themselves with promissing fetures. While whatsapp is more popular in general public, Slack edge ahead every other means with its unlimited features. Slack provides unlimited messaging and group chats that hold up to 1,024 participants. However, in #WhatsApp video calls are limited to only 8 users.

Slack was launched in August 2013. According to founder, Butterfield, "Slack" is an acronym for "Searchable Log of All Conversation and Knowledge,"

Currently, Slack is available in 3 differnt subscription module. While the first one is free option which provides limited features to users with respect too storage, message retention, permission etc. On the other it's "pro" and "business" subscription comes with unlimited features. Users can benefitted with an array of features and option. Which helps in business growth and bringing everyone under one umbrella. More than 9k companies have shown their faith on this app and have been using it for their business. Some of the prominent names includes, Airbnb, shopify, pintrest etc.

A boon to many, but it is interesting to know the loopholes in putting them at excessive usage. One of my friend has been extensively using the software in their corporate and their feedback made me to explore more on this app. Most of the points were from his viewpoints.
