Converting a Normal TV into Smart TV
Smart phone, Smart Watch and now Smart TV. People trying to be smarter by using Smart things in their life. The ongoing digital revolution is helping people in smarter way. People needing everything simple and easy that works under their finger touch. But everybody can't afford to live a smarter life. Todsy I went to a repairing shop for fixing issue with my invertor and surprise to find the shop owners was working on converting a Normal TV into Smarter TV.
Conversion seems to be easy for those who are ready to spend thousands of rupees. People can rely on devices like Amazon TV Stick or any other stick to convert normal TV into a Smart TV, or use a smart setup box. But for those who unable to afford heavy prices converting a Normal TV into smart tv seems to be a quite easy with zero cost.
This can be possible , with the help of an HDMI cable and a laptop that has a port for this. Do make sure that your laptop has an HDMI port for this method to work. Converting is possible by casting the laptop's screen on the TV. Here are the step by step process and try it at home.
Connect the laptop with the TV using the HDMI cable. One port to TV and another to laptop.
Using the TV remote function,switch to HDMI in the inputs section.
The laptop's screen will appear on the TV and you can then stream any video or Netflix, ott channels on it. You have to play them on laptop and watch full screen on TV.
This will help in converting Normal TV back to smarter in less then 20 seconds. As far as picture, quality is concerned it will be slightly on the lower side, but need to adjust somewhere to enjoy movies on a bigger screen. Hope you find the trick working and useful.
