Oraimo Traveler Link 20 Power Bank: A Review for 2024
For a while, I have been looking at the difference in the prices of power banks now and last year, and I noticed how there is a significant difference in the price. It all started because I ordered a power bank, which I want to review on my YouTube channel that I have not been active for a while on, just as I have not been active on Hive. I bought this power bank below for 30,900 naira as against the price of a 20,000 mah power bank that used to be sold for 10k to 15k naira a year ago.
If you check the prices from the dollar point of view, you will find that the power banks sold still remained in the same range of prices. The only difference is the devaluation in the naira value, which has resulted in us paying more.
The Oraimo Traveler Link 20 is the latest release of the Oraimo powerbanks and I happen to be one of the first few people to have ordered it, so if you are considering getting this item, here is a quick review of the product.
Design and Build Quality
The casing of the power bank is plastic, which is quite strong and has some strips at its surface. You would be able to feel those strips when holding the power bank. Behind it, you would find the cables attached to the power bank.
The power bank makes use of LED indicators to monitor the battery power, with the power button on the right-hand side of the power bank. It comes with a single output USB, a LED flash light, a single USB type A port, a USB type C and type B port for charging the power bank, and output cables (type C, type B, and lightning cable) for charging different types of devices.
CHARGING PORTS AND COMPATIBILITY
Let's begin with the inputs; this is how the power bank would be charged.
Inputs | Rating |
---|---|
USB-A cable | 5V 2A |
Micro-USB port | 5V 2A |
Type C port | 5V 2A |
Outputs | Rating |
---|---|
USB port | 5V 2.4A |
Micro-USB port | 5V 2.1A |
Type C port | 5V 2.1A |
With this power bank, you can charge any type of device, whether it is an iPhone, Android, or an old device, You have all available cables.
ANIFAST TECHNOLOGY
The power bank is said to have AniFast Technology, which helps the power bank intelligently identify the fast charging protocol for any mobile device so it can deliver the highest possible speed charge.
MY THOUGHTS AND RECOMMENDATION
When I got this power bank, I had the mind of getting a power bank that could be easily carried about on my hand or in my pocket, but at the same time, I knew I was getting a 20,000 MAH power bank, so most likely the power bank would be heavy. If you want a power bank that you can keep at home and you don't want to worry about having to look for a cable to use with it, then this power bank is one of the best you can get out there.
Talking about charging speeds, you can only get a maximum charging speed of 12 watts if you are using the USB port, but if you are using any of the cables on the power bank, you would get a charging speed of not more than 10 watts. The charging speed is not super fast, but at a fair speed.

I think there is an issue here @hivebuzz @arcange... the last time I posted was 3 to 4 days ago.
Lol... Them dey see you for their dream na why 😄🤣
There may have been some hiccups when Hivebuzz caught up with blockchain after HiveSQL restarted.
Impressive review mate 👍🏼. The power bank look great overall. I don't just like that fact that the type C port found on it only works and an input and not delivers output. But asides that, it's great.
But there has been a recent issue with oriamo power banks. It's either the the battery inside it swells up without a cause or it experiences irregularities in charging and discharging. Well this charging and discharging irregularities are mostly noticed on their power banks that are 30,000mAh and above with LCD display for it battery percentage.
This occurrence has made me have doubts in ever getting an Oraimo Powerbank again. I'm currently considering NewAge power banks. Maybe you can check it out and also make a review on it.
I am telling you bro. The reviews I have been getting regarding Oraimo power banks are really scary. It's making me doubt mine sef wait patiently for the time it starts malfunctioning and silently praying that it doesn't malfunction
which type are you using?
oraimo 20000mah traveler 4
Lol. My own 30,000mAh used to malfunction but of recent, it has been quite stable and well functional.
what God can't do doesn't exist. It was lame now it is whole.
Lol... you no serious 😆🤣
This is true. The technology that shows the battery percentage of Oraimo power banks was not well made; it is not showing the correct battery percentage of the battery.
Power banks swell for different reasons, and one of them is that when the power bank falls, the battery will swell. Heat could also cause it as well.
The most common issue with the Oraimo Power Bank is also the charging port getting spoiled. I don't know why, but I have noticed this as well.
Well you're right.
Really? I've hardly seen people having issues with power bank charging port. In fact, I've never seen any or experienced any Oraimo Powerbank with changing port fault. Since 2018 in which I started purchasing powerbank I've never experienced a fault charging port on my Powerbank. I've used 2 new age and 2 Oraimo's Powerbank so far. Guess I've been lucky 😊
My power bank has served its purpose and it's slowly deteriorating. I was hoping to get a new one but I had a good feeling the 15k I bought it two years ago won't be enough presently and you just made me realize I was right.
Now I have to budget more for it, especially now that the rain has started, light will become an issue, so I need to have a working power bank in handy.
Thank you for the review crushyy, I don't necessarily have to carry my power bank around so when I am ready, I'll get this one.
The rate at which dollar climbed is really outrageous, I just pray it does not go beyond this. One practically have to double his money if he must get an item he bought 3 months ago...
I hate power banks personally, it can be due to bad Quality power banks we have in our homeland. 30900 naira for a power bank looked cool when it has C-type, B-type and Lightning Cable options for charging. Its shape looked cool. I was looking for a good power bank currently in my country. If I found it, then I shall surely like to buy it. Thank you sir for providing a general and overall good review.

This is exactly how my power bank looks like and I’ve been using it for over a year now
It is very strong and lasts longer
It is a very interesting tool
I have a power bank less powerful than the Oraimo.
The utility of these power banks have no limit
Thank you for sharing.
