ORAIMO HOTSPOT ELF OM100 UNBOXING AND REVIEW
For a while, I have wanted to get the Oraimo Mifi, which is also known as the Oraimo Hotspot elf Om100. I have been hesitating to get it because the price is of no small value, but at the same time, it was much needed. While I had to wait for almost a year or more to get it, it was because I had an alternative mifi to use, but since I have given it out to Pearl and she is not around presently, I knew first that it was the right time for me to get the device, and I could afford it at the moment.
The Oraimo Hotspot Elf cost #28,500 on the Oraimo store, but I was able to get it for 25,800 naira after applying a discount code to it.
Above, you can see my order receipt. I ordered the product on Valentine's Day, which is on the 14th, and it took about 3 days for it to get delivered to my doorstep. The reason why I love ordering from Oraimo is because I can pay for the goods on delivery. This makes it easy to order down and then prepare the money for payments ahead.
So I got my package via Speedaff, and I was asked to sign it, as you can see my username on it. So below, we will go through the unboxing of the Mifi.
The Oraimo Hotspot Elf can connect up to 10 devices and has a maximum speed of 300 Mbps. There are four light indicators on the MiFi. One is the Power LED, Signal LED, WiFi LED, and battery charging LED.
When I removed the case, the first thing I saw was the user manual. Under it was the Mifi, then the battery underneath.
Below the battery, we have the type B charger port for charging the MiFi. It takes about 3 hours for the router to charge fully when it is low.
What I noticed about using the MiFi...
Comparing the Mifi to other ones available on the market, I noticed that the battery life of this device lasts longer. I know this compares to the other Mifi devices I have used. Also, this device has a speed of 300 Mbps, which is faster than my normal phone internet connection. I haven't yet tested the range of the Mifi from the device, so I am not sure how much distance one can be away from the device when connected to it.
Overall, I like the device, the glossy feel when carrying it on hand, and its portability. It is worth the money. I hope it continues to serve for a long time.
