My Oraimo Discounted Order Arrived || Anifast PowerBank Review

A few days ago, I talked about ordering some goods on Oraimo for a very discounted price. I was able to get more than a 30% discount on the product plus a free item worth close to 50% of its price. Isn't that lovely?

So I happened to be with Pearl when my order arrived, but unfortunately we didn't get to take any pictures of us together, so there is no picture to share.

But here is the picture of the order when it arrived:

As I said earlier in this post, I was able to order this item for the price of 30,800 naira, taking a thousand naira for a dollar; this is equivalent to $30.8.

Immediately, I went in to unbox it, making sure to take pictures while unboxing it.

In the picture above, I placed the box on my table to see how best I could remove the nylon around the packaging. You know how these nylons can somehow be a little challenging to remove as they are always well sealed.

Finally I have been able to unpack the items and there are my two items. The first item which is my 40,000mah power bank and a selfie stick.

The Oraimo 40,000mah Ultra Capacity Powerbank

This power bank is a lithium battery type with two inputs, which means it can be charged either using a type C or a micro-USB port and also has five outputs.

IMG_9632.jpeg

This power bank comes with a fast charging technology called AniFast, and what this does is identify the fast charging protocol of your device and give it the best or fastest charge possible.

The Anifast technology is incorporated in the output 1, output 2 and output 5.

After removing the power bank from its packaging, it was placed in very smooth clothing. I love it! I think the clothing can be kept for future use; maybe a place to keep your power bank when not in use in order to prevent scratches.

IMG_9639.jpegIMG_9641.jpeg

There is something I forgot to mention about this power bank: the first input USB, which is the USB for charging, can also be used as an output to charge your phones or even your USB-type C laptop.

IMG_9645.jpegIMG_9646.jpeg

One more thing I like about this power bank is the flashlight that comes with it. I know that not many people are fans of flashlights in power banks, but this can be helpful in situations where you don't have a torch, and your power bank could serve that purpose instead of using the flashlight on your mobile device.

There is also something confusing I found while unboxing the power bank, and here it is:

IMG_9620.jpegIMG_9643.jpeg

Here is what was written in the paper:

We recommend that when using this product for the first time, use it normally until the battery level shows zero, then charge the product to 100%. This will complete the screen activation, allowing for normal use thereafter. Failure to follow the activation instructions may result in inaccurate displays.

and the second one, which was written on the power bank, says:

We recommend fully charging your power bank for the first use in order to correct the battery level display.

I feel these two instructions are against each other. The first instruction was saying I should use the battery until it is completely down, i.e., drain the battery, before charging it up to 100%, while the second instruction is saying I should fully charge the battery before my first use.

I don't know if I am not reading this well, but it got me confused at first as I didn't know which instruction to follow, but at the end, I chose to follow the first instruction by draining it before charging.

I have been charging for the past 4 hours now with a 30W charger, and the battery has only gotten to 27%.

What do you think about these two instructions?

What a coincidence!

I just published a post about Oraimo products now, my uncle is another Ambassador just like you and Olujay😂.

About charging after draining the whole power that came with it.... my uncle 60,000 power bank has the same confusing instruction on it.

The first sentence on the first page said the device should be chargd before use

While on another page, it was stated that the device should be drained before charging.

You chose the right thing because my uncle said the Oraimo operator at his company said he should follow the second instruction.

I got the same product a few months ago, this year sha. But mine was 30,000 MAH
The instruction I remember seeing on my own was that I had to charge the battery till it gets to 100% before using it.

I recently checked the site to see if that discount was still available for 30000 mah, but it wasn't.

I guess discounts are now for 40000 mah and above.

So far, it has been serving me well.

Enjoy yours.

I only saw one instruction. I was asked to charge the power bank until it was fully charged before using it.

Mine cost about N16800.

It was so fun unboxing this package with you! I could see how excited you were about it. Na you and Oraimo for life sha

About the instructions, I think you should probably check their page or check reviews, so it will be clearer. I think you made a good decision by charging with it first though, looks like the better instruction. Normally, we are all used to charging our new gadgets first, but maybe that has been a wrong approach all along.

It was more fun having you by my side, unboxing it.

oh you mean charging with it first...yeah that was the instruction I followed. We just don't know which approach is the best.

Oraimo should be paying you every month. Hehe.

The powerbank looks promising. It has such nice features.

I’ll just say make enquiries or charge before use because that is what most power bank manuals say.

Crushyy, good morning 🥰

Do you have I had my power bank for over a year plus and I did not know the second charging port was type C. When I found out, I felt stupid.. lol...

The torchlight... I barely remember to use mine because I have gotten used to the dark .. hehehehe.

I did not completely understand this part though 👇👇

There is something I forgot to mention about this power bank: the first input USB, which is the USB for charging, can also be used as an output to charge your phones or even your USB-type C laptop.

Anyway, I am glad you received your order in good shape and you loved it. Next time, remember to take a picture with Pearl 🙈

seriously, you didn't know the type c was a charging port. How did you later figure it out?

The torchlight... I barely remember to use mine because I have gotten used to the dark .. hehehehe.

Do you mean you can see in the dark now?

oh that part meant that the type C can be either used to charge the power bank or charge your phone. Anyway works with it.

Lol. No, I did not.

I spent a certain weekend with my friend and tried to charge his power bank with his phone charger. I complained it wasn't fitting in and he pointed it out... Hehehehe.

Do you mean you can see in the dark now?

Crushyy, very funny 🤣

I have been without one for so long, I got used to not having any need for it.

Oh right. I got it.
