🧬🧪🔭 We went to visit the Maloka Museum 🧬🧪🔭

Welcome to my blog!

A weekend with friends from Venezuela who came to visit Bogota, it is very special to meet again with dear people, it makes us feel that we are in our country sharing normally.

We went to visit the Maloka, which is an interactive science and technology museum for children located in the Fontibon district of Bogota. Our friends have a son that we adore, a funny and very smart boy so Maloka was a perfect place for him.

This museum was created in 1998, and inside we can see several ways to do experiments, learn about the planet and even understand a little more about electricity.

This place is excellent to stimulate scientific thinking, it is very incredible to see all these things explained very simply for the understanding of all ages.

Upon arrival we can see a giant dome that welcomes us to the place and a sculpture that plays with physics and is very cool to see it move with the air, it is a good preamble before entering the place.
This place also has solar panels that are a fundamental part of the energy of this space.

When we entered the truth is an enjoyment to see a place so well distributed and creative to let your imagination go and learn.

We can look at ourselves in mirrors that show us how each type and perspective makes us look skinnier, fatter or shorter in their reflection, the truth was quite funny.

Then we were able to learn about the swords of matter in the universe, and look at the planets with magnifying glasses that give us a beautiful photographic approach. We even came across an almost life-size T-REX tyrannosaurus that was really beautiful to admire.

We received a 25 minute talk to learn about the power of energy and electricity. We made a chain to feel the electricity passing through each of us, and we also learned that wood does conduct electrical energy so it is not so safe to touch it when there is a case of electrocution.

Our friend Mafer was the one chosen to receive a taste of magnetism and see how her hair went up a lot, it was fun and very interesting.

In this museum there are several laboratories that we could not access because they were occupied with congelegios who were on a field trip. There are also talks about migration and the importance for the countries to receive people of other nationalities and cultures that enrich the people.

We love this place, although it is for children the truth is that it is very stimulating for everyone and we learn many things that we had underestimated its importance.

There is also a cafeteria and a place to buy souvenirs of the museum, if you are in Bogota it is worth coming to see this amazing place.

A great walk with friends, to get out of the routine, recharge energy and fill us with the beauty of friendship and science.
Celebrate life whenever you can.

"Estás a punto e cruzar la frontera de la indiferencia". Esto debería ser el lema del museo. Me impacto esa frase tan directa. Wonderful post, @soyaruska
