¡ME GANÉ UN NINTENDO SWITCH LITE! | Unboxing

En medio de la locura, en pleno Blockchain Summit Latam, estando en el stand, recibo un mensaje de voz en mi WhatsApp con un mensaje: "hola Natalia, te habla xxxxx, de Gandalf, por favor, llámame de regreso". Yo me asusté, porque Gandalf es mi proveedor de Internet y pensé todo lo peor (la paranoica). Pero resulta que la llamada era para anunciarme que me había ganado un Nintendo Switch Lite, porque yo misma participé en un concurso de las RRSS de la empresa. Para hacer más interesante (o loco de mi parte), es que ya me habían escrito un par de semanas antes para avisarme que había quedado preseleccionada para ser ganadora del premio.

Como estaba en Bogotá, no podía ir a recibir mi premio, y no lo podía hacer nadie más. Solo participaban los clientes de la empresa, así que tenía que recibirlo yo misma. Quedamos en que en cuanto regresara, me iban a entregar el premio porque tenían que hacerme algunas fotos y grabar unos videos para las redes.

In the middle of the madness, in the middle of Blockchain Summit Latam, being at the booth, I receive a voice message on my WhatsApp with a message: “hello Natalia, this is xxxxx, from Gandalf, please call me back”. I freaked out, because Gandalf is my Internet provider and I thought all the worst (the paranoid one). But it turns out that the call was to announce that I had won a Nintendo Switch Lite, because I entered a contest on the company's RRSS myself. To make it more interesting (or crazy on my part), is that they had already written me a couple of weeks before to let me know that I had been shortlisted to be the winner of the prize.

Since I was in Bogota, I could not go to receive my prize, and no one else could. Only the company's clients participated, so I had to receive it myself. We agreed that as soon as I returned, they would give me the prize because they had to take some pictures and record some videos for the networks.

Llegó el día, y fui, junto a mi sobrino y mi papá, nos fuimos a buscar el premio. Debo decirles que mi plan era levantarme temprano, arreglarme el cabello para las fotos... Me desperté tarde, me vestí, hice lo que pude con mi cabello y así mismo me fui.

Nos atendieron bien, tuvimos que esperar unos minutos a la encargada de grabar y tomar las fotos, mientras toda la oficina hablaba de lo emocionante que era ganarse ese premio y que todos lo querían.

The day came, and I went, along with my nephew and my dad, we went to get the prize. I must tell you that my plan was to get up early, fix my hair for the pictures.... I woke up late, got dressed, did what I could with my hair and just like that I left.

They took good care of us. We had to wait a few minutes for the person in charge of recording and taking the pictures, while the whole office was talking about how exciting it was to win this award and that everyone wanted it.

Llegué a casa y estaba ansiosa de abrir mi nuevo Nintendo, el color, mejor, imposible, muy acertado, estaba preocupada de que fuera amarillo (jajaja) pero este turquesa es perfecto.

El Nintendo Switch Lite, es el dispositivo más sencillo de toda esta gama, este no tiene controles ni se conecta al televisor, pero corre todos los juegos sin ningún problema, y para mí es perfecto porque no iba a utilizar la tele de esa forma.

I got home and was anxious to open my new Nintendo, the color, better, impossible, very successful, I was worried that it would be yellow (hahaha) but this turquoise is perfect.

The Nintendo Switch Lite is the simplest device of all this range. This one has no controls and does not connect to the TV, but it runs all the games without any problem. For me, it is perfect because I was not going to use the TV that way.

Tiene 32 GB de memoria interna, por lo que tuve que hacer un gasto extra, tuve que comprarle una tarjeta Micro SD de 128 GB para poder instalarle juegos. Obviamente, los juegos que le he instalado son gratuitos, ya que los juegos de Nintendo son bastante costosos, así que este premio resultó estar un poco envenenado.

Lo bueno es que mi celular va a descansar de unos cuantos juegos, porque en la switch puedo jugar títulos como APEX, Fornite, Sky, Pokémon Unite. Ya tengo en mi mente invertir en un juego futuro, pero para eso voy a tener que esperar un tiempo hasta que reuna el dinero. Mientras tanto, me divierto con tetris 99 (un vicio que no esperaba).

It has 32 GB of internal memory, so I had to make an extra expense, I had to buy a 128 GB Micro SD card to be able to install games on it. Obviously, the games I have installed are free, since Nintendo games are quite expensive, so this prize turned out to be a bit poisoned.

The good thing is that my cell phone is going to rest from a few games, because on the switch I can play titles like APEX, Fornite, Sky, Pokémon Unite. I already have in my mind to invest in a future game, but for that I'm going to have to wait a while until I gather the money. In the meantime, I'm having fun with Tetris 99 (a vice I didn't expect).
