Solos Solar Array production stats – April 2025
For the month of April we produced over 1.38 MWh (Megawatt hours). We made a little less this month compared to the last, may be in part of cloudy skies. Though I expect the wattage to pick up more during the summer time in the next month or two.

Battery Charge: 121.2 kWh
Battery Discharge: 101.9 kWh
*combined stats are different from screenshot from single inverter.
Array A build:
System Size = 5.5 kWp DC
Panels = Sungoldpower Monocryalline 60 cell (12 Panels, 450 Watts each)
Mounting System = Brightmount EG4 screwed into 6x6 timbers
Wiring: 1x 8 AWG 19 strand PV direct bury wire pair
Inverters = 2x Sol-Ark 15k all-in-ones (240V)
Battery Backup = 48 3.2v EVE LF280 LiFePO4 280AH batteries
Battery Management system = Daly Smart BMS 16S 48V 500A
Battery Capacity = 45.696 kWh (840AH)
Propane Generator = Briggs and Stratton Power Protect 26kw
Array B production stats:
PV: 1043.2 kWh
Load: 1645.5 kWh
Grid Import: 726.1 kWh
Battery Charge: 512.4 kWh
Battery Discharge: 457.7 kWh
Array B build:
System Size = 9 kWp DC
Panels = Sungoldpower Monocryalline 60 cell (20 Panels, 450 Watts each)
Mounting System = Brightmount EG4 screwed into 6x6 timbers
Wiring: 2x 8 AWG 19 strand PV direct bury wire pair
Inverters = Sol-Ark 15k all-in-one (240V)
Battery Backup = 48 3.2v LiFePO4 290AH batteries (unknown brand)
Battery Management system = Daly Smart BMS 16S 48V 250A
Battery Capacity = 47.328 kWh (870AH)
Propane Generator = Briggs and Stratton Power Protect 22kw
Totals combined for all arrays:
1380.1 kWh (1.38 MWh) produced for the month of April
Extra information: Major progress has been made on Array-C. I expect it to be online in the next few weeks bringing over another 9000 watts onto the farm in production.

Wow, the development of your solar power. Where I am very expensive solar yenaga
It has been quite the project.
very great, where I live there is solar energy but for companies around the mountains
Ah yeah makes sense to use it up in the mountains.. Just got to bring those heavy batteries up..lol
Summer is the best time for solar ....
This month we also get 0 electricity bill
Sure is! Oh nice, we use too much power at night to have a zero bill. But we have greatly reduced ours.
Esa ha sido una buena solución. Una innovación sostenible y sustentable
Yeah I think so too
Honestly, I was expecting you to produce more energy than last month. I hope you make up for it next month.
Yeah maybe we had more storms last month.. not really sure honestly.
Thanks
Nice size solar installations! I had a solar array mounted on the roof and in Seattle it was definitely producing more on sunny days than on cloudy ones. But they also say that the temperature plays a role as well as the temperatures rise the efficiency of the panels tends to drop.
Thanks much, it is quite the setup.. Oh that is cool. Yeah its interesting to see on cloudy days it still pulls in power but not as much.
That would make sense, I should go check on my panel temps with my infrared temp reader sometime.
People are going wild with Solar over here, due to all of the power cuts. We are also thinking about it, but it's an expensive issue.
You seem to have a great system over there.
Ah yeah that is one of the reasons I wanted my setup, in rural areas the power tends to go out a lot. So having my own setup helps.
Yes it is expensive. But you can always build in sections. Or scale up.
Thank you
Oh yeah, your own setup is good, and no more power cuts for you. Maybe you can show it to the neighbors, as then they could also start to build their own.
I am looking into it, and I saw that they even have a rent to own system here. So, there are several options, but the best I think is to start small, and like you said, then to scale up.

Looking good! I am still envious of your setup. I might need to look into getting some panels to take with us when we go camping with our travel trailer. Just to dip my toes in the space a bit.
Thanks man, hah yeah well that is exactly what I did before I rewired my home for solar.
I have had at least 3 solar setups before I went big. First was a single battery single panel setup to power a water pump for watering outside. Then I did a 3 battery 3 panel to power some LED lights outside. Then I did another 3 panel/3battery to power my workshop until the big solar array was done.
So yeah start small and just have fun charging your phones or powering a fan or light or something.
I'm definitely going to have to look into that!
It's ramping up here as the days get longer. I'll build up some credit over the summer from all that exporting.
Solar ought to be a no-brainer. It seems it may finally be added on most new houses in the UK soon. It's not as cloudy here as some people think. We've had plenty of sun this year.
Nice man, glad you can export and its worth it for you. Where I live I would get pennies on the dollar sending it back to them. Soon I will be adding some more loads in the workshop to use up my excess. As I usually fully charge my batteries just 3 hours after the sun comes up. Got the rest of the day to make use of all that power.
Indeed, solar seems to be the way to go.. Oh that is cool, that is a good idea.
It wouldn't be economical without the export. It will pay for itself eventually.
Greetings bro, thanks for always supporting me, it looks great that solar power station with those solar panels.
What would you achieve if you become a witness?
No problem man thanks for sharing your cannabis grows with us. Yeah it is quite the setup.
Actually I am already a witness, more votes help me get more blocks though.
Hehehe @solominer there are so many cool stuff going on in your farmland and at this point your land could be a great tourist attraction😃
Hah yep always doing something around here.
Lol no thanks. I am a recluse, do not want people around me.
I have found out here in New England that March often outproduced April, year after year.
Hmm interesting, maybe that will be the trend. I need to keep an eye on next year to see if it happens again.
