I'm a Hack and A Fraud and You Can Be Too!
Greetings and Salutations! I hope you're all amazing! The real kind. You don't care about my hopes and dreams, though. You're here for the dirt. We'll I got some.
A few years ago a got an iPhone with a pre-installed app called Garage Band. I never learned how to use it very well but I managed to get some cool ringtones out of it.
Recently, I discovered Suno.com, which is an AI music generator, and I fed a few of those old ringtines into it, hit a few prompts (or filled in my own in natural language) and got a variety of music back. Most of it is decent as backing tracks for saxophone practice, but a few have turned out surprisingly good, in my humble opinion, so I thought I'd share some of the results.
This is one of my faves because the mood just hits right for me, but I'm not sure I'd call it the best of the bunch. On a personal note, however, I think this one will be helpful in learning to develop something that resembles rhythm. I mostly practice fluff part tutorials on youtube, save a few full versions I've not been so utterly defeated by as to abandon entirely. So it's refreshing to find legit inspiration, particularly that which stemmed (no matter how far removed) from my own original (lmao!!) efforts.
Anyway, I've gone on long enough for now. I hope you enjoy and sound off in the comments!
