Will AI Trading replace Traditional Trading method

Good day to you. Hope the day is going well for you and it's going well for me also.

Many of my friends are in the trading business and they trade in various markets. Indian stock market has two options BSE (Bombay Stock Exchange) and NSE (National Stock Exchange). NSE is the older one but BSE is the new one and more companies are listed with NSE. Most people prefer to trade with NSE in a stock market in India because they get more companies to choose from. I'm not going to talk about the market in this post instead my focus is going to move on the technology involvement with trading and specifically the artificial intelligence technology. Because most of my friends are in the trading business I am aware of how it works and what segments can be good but I have never done any kind of trading.

I often do some discussions with them to see how things are going but my schedule is not good for the trading because it requires more attention. I want to learn it more but doing it along with my current work is not possible for me and this is why I'm trying to stay away from this. Knowledge is good and this is the reason why I just keep on reading about it and also discuss with them to see what are some new things in the market now and how they are being captured by the generative AI which is the talk of the town this year.

I got to know that there are some platforms offering trading using AI technology but people are not very sure about it so they avoid using such platforms. It is not that everyone is just trying to stay away from technology but the majority of people are not sure how is it going to work. Even though the outcome is not a sure shot but still many people are giving it a try to see how it works. In crypto trading, many platforms are offering the ai based trading but in the stock market, there are very few names, and that too is in the early stage when it comes to limited functionalities.

The adoption of AI technology is growing for different purposes and now with trading if it goes well then it has huge potential. People who are in the trading business make a lot of money and As for them sixty percent success rate is considered very good. I don't know how much money my friends make because I don't know the exact number but based on the discussions that we have when we meet show that they are making good money. They need to spend a lot of time in front of a screen this is going to change. They will also adopt it at some point in time but not now because they are not confident which means the future of I trading looks good.

People who have been doing the trading for many years are more familiar with the way they work and change cannot be easy for them. Primarily this is because it is connected with the monetary benefits or losses so they want to be more sure so that they do not lose out just because they have adopted some new form of Technology. I have an interest in doing some trading but I have no bandwidth to sit in front of a screen for long hours because my work is different. When things are better and possibly AI will be offering a lot in the next few years I assume then I can think of focusing on this.

Conclusion

Overall The technology will be making fantastic enhancements and I believe that in the future majority of traders will adopt AI technology. The AI technology is evolving so we will be getting many more functionalities with the upgrades and that is how it is going to onboard the traditional investors who are not comfortable with the current set of functionalities. This situation will not be the same for long because companies are working on it to develop different aspects and better features and overall it is going to make a positive and better impact on the trading business.
