Use of Generative AI Technology in Business Operations

This is the 21st century and we are lucky that we have born in this era when technology is top-notch. It is evolving and innovation is at its peak. Many companies are working on different technology to build something that was not done before and there is a lot of competition in every segment. Technology is not just limited to one part of any sector but it has grown so much that almost every industry is surrounded by this.

After the launch of Chad GPT which is the artificial intelligence chat Bot things are completely changed. It can do a lot for us but we need to know how to use it. I think basic use can be done by anyone but having a deep understanding of prompt engineering is not easy. Prompt engineering is a method that we can use to have conversations with a generative AI chatbot. This bot works on different commands and learning more about these commands and methods is called prompt engineering. Now there are some courses for prompt engineering because it is very helpful to deal with these chat bots and better knowledge of prompt engineering can get great results.

Many companies are running towards automation and they want to automate all the repetitive tasks. Even my company which is not in technology is also trying to adopt different technology solutions to automate various roles. They do not know how it is going to be but they have decided that they will be leveraging the technology to implement automation as much as possible. In my department, I have been given the responsibility to connect with the technology team and build whatever is possible.

Their logic is simple investing in technology is a better investment for them because it is going to be a time. There will be some bots developed that will be doing anything which is a repetitive task. The company believed that bots are more reliable than humans because they will keep on working for any number of hours we want. This is good for the business but not good for the people but this is a reality that we cannot avoid. This is a big project that I am working on and I'm happy that I have been assigned as a point of contact for those who will be facilitating the automation by artificial intelligence technology and some other forms. The ultimate goal is to automate about 30 to 40% of tasks in the next 6 months depending upon the feasibility and possibility.

This is a clear indication that people need to be careful who are working in any company because sooner or later it will happen on a big scale. Anything repetitive can be done by automation but it cannot do anything that is a creative or analysis-based task. We need to find ways to stay in the zone where we perform something like that because no bot can do this. Bot can only perform the activities that are repetitive and do not require any logical thinking so now we know what should be the right way for us to move ahead. It is better to learn new skills and upgrade ourselves because technology has both things for us. It has opened the door of opportunity for us to explore many things that we can learn and upgrade ourselves but if we do not do then it also affects our employment. It is high time we think about it and see how we can up-skill ourselves to ensure that we will be on the job even if the technology is highly advanced because this will have certain limitations but we as humans do not.
