Not having a car payment or insurance payment or car maintenance can be an attractive option. As you mentioned, no outlay of a big chunk of money. Or even the need to qualify for a loan to get the car in the first place.
In some cases, it makes more sense to ride share than own. And on days that are a bit weird, renting for a day or two works out.
Whereas you can only deduct mileage for business, I think it’s possible to deduct full rental or ride share cost for business use. I’d have to look it up.
Hi @shainemata I just wanted to touch base with you to ask for a witness vote. Shopping in Australia is the same, but a lot of people are changing to farmers markets as the security is putting them off the scan yourself type shopping.
