My prediction is these will be as common in major cities as Yellow Cabs used to be
Well depends on how quick the city and people are to implement it.
I feel it'll probably be a mix of human and automatic taxis.
The switch to fully autonomous transportation is still some years to come....

A lot will depend upon how quickly autonomous driving is approved in each state. Regulatory approval is where I see most of the hurdles. The cost per mile will be so much lower with the Cybercab that when given the choice most people will probably choose it—if they’re comfortable riding in a car that drives itself.
that's the issue...
I myself would think it would take some time before I'll be comfortable 😂
It's a little unsettling at first!
