You know, after hearing it was produced by Netflix, I was a bit reluctant to watch this show at first.

That was a stupid decision on my part...

Despite it being short, it was a genuinely enjoyable and fulfilling anime to experience.
Such futuristic graphics and techs, yet with a kind of oldened Japanese oriented feels. It was all blended together to give a new experience to the world of anime.
Some of the aspects that really stands out in the anime was...

- The Badass Animation

Of course this is the aspect that is the main dish. The animation used here was golden!!
The crazy part about the animation is the fact that there was no 3D trickery used except for rare instances. Just a series of 2D plates with great animation. Normally this wouldn't be enough to wow fans the way it did.
The real wowing factor in the animation was the use of colors and the sound design which was impressive.
The neon-like colours really brought the futuristic feel to the characters ✨

- A very Realistic Storyline.

This is something one doesn't see everyday. A storyline where a character meets an opponent who in all means is able to kill him and finally does kill him is very rare.
Sad to say but the animation company is going through a severe plot armor crisis where the characters always manage to push through because of baseless explanations like hardwork, heart or spirit of friends.

People please 😂😂

The only anime this year that has abruptly decided to escape that logic is Gege Akatumi's Jujutsu Kaisen which seems to be on a killing spree of all the founding characters.

For real, it's scary😪

I was pretty impressed with the fights without any plot armor in the show, especially the ending fight in which I genuinely expected the plot armor to be used but alas it wasn't.

This anime was a loving experience for me. Getting immersed into the nightlife gang life of a corruption immersed city is not an easy anime to show, due to trying to figure out when it's too much.
Cyberpunks decided to leave out all the minor kinks and bring out everything for us to view at lovely animation.
That goes to say that this show IS NOT 🚫 for children.
Lots of scenes that could give a priest a heart attack, plus the blood and gore was lovingly detailed too.
Alas this is simply part of the flair of the anime.
I give it a whooping 8 out of 10 stars ✨
