The kids should be monitored

Greetings!

The advent of technology has really brought us humans a new dimension and ways of life, things have really changed as ease has now become the other of the day, unlike in the past when people worked hard with little or no result. In this our current dispensation, technology has settled most of our hard labours and achieved things that now require our smart moves and there's no more hard labours.

Part of those things that technology has brought to us is the social media which is a life people now live in this era. Social has now become a source of income to many in the society. All you have to do now is to post content online or on social media and the more your content is being viewed the more money you get in your account which to me is a smart way of making money. The only thing needed for this is your gadget being it phone or PC and yourself.

Aside from this, what amazed me most is the categories of people who can now post their content on social media. As we all know that content creation on social media has no age discrimination, what I now see that amazed me most is kids coming online to post their created content.

Although, I would say that I'm not against this and this is because, it makes a smart kid to create a smart content online and not only this, this would also help the kids in being exposed to what's currently trending. Also, with their online content creation, they can as well make money for themselves and their family which is a financial plus to them and their family unlike our own time where all we know how to do best is to ride a bicycle and build a sandcastle which has no financial gain to us and our family, just a waste of time.

However, as good as this social media content creation by the kids is to them and their families, there's this kind of early exposure that I don't really like in it. One thing that's very certain about social media is that it exposes people's personal lives to the outside world and not only this, it also exposes the world to people.

This exposure, if not carefully handled by the kids and their parents, might be the only thing that would damage the life of a kid and ruin his or her future. Also, the money being realised from all of this online or social media content creation may also contribute to the downfall of such a kid.

The only thing that can be done is for the parents to help such a kid to manage all his or her affairs on social media so that he or she would not get damaged and later ruin his or her future. The parents should help the kid guide against unnecessary exposure in social media and also help the kid to manage his or her resources. He or she should not be discouraged from doing what she or he knows how to do best. Everything must be balanced and they, the kids, must be well groomed.
