Connecting the online and offline together

Like I used to say, the advent of technology has really opened up the entire development and elaborate socialization. Aside from this, it's also brought about ease to the entire human race.

Now, we can do things at the comfort of our room without any stress of going out to meet with others, also, this advent of technology has made the whole world into a small community where people interact and socialize at their own comfort.

However, with all these advantages of the advent of technology which has taken us out of our old and dark ages to the new and modern world, there's also some disadvantages to its existence.

Although, we have really been enjoying the comfort brought to us by technology via the online connection to the outside world from the comfort of our homes, but mind you, one thing that's very sure is that we cannot compare the offline or physical relationship with that of the online relationship.

In the online relationship, we see people fraternizing with one another only to later know that it's not real at all. In some cases, I have seen people being scammed via an online relationship which doesn't exist at all in the first place.

Although I have seen such a relationship working out perfectly before, out of 100% of such relationships, only a few work out perfectly in the end.

I could remember a friend of mine who got connected with a lady online, so on a particular day, this guy and his lady friend decided to meet at a designated place and date. So, when the day finally came, this my friend and the lady were tracing each other on the phone and seeing the lady by my friend, he got pissed off simply because, the picture being used by the lady in question online is quite different from the physical identity of the lady and that's how my friend didn't show up to her at the end, in fact, he blocked her number immediately and the lady got stranded.

I have seen so many fake lives online and going by this, this online relationship of a thing cannot be compared to what we have been used to over the years.

Aside from all what I have said earlier, one thing is that the way we were used to doing things before this online thing is the normal social way and this is because, you go for what you like without any alteration which we now have due to the online things we have now.

Like what I said earlier about my friend, had it been a physical thing, they wouldn't have approached each other not to talk about them having a relationship and that's a great advantage of the physical relationship which has been overtaken by the online relationship in our days.

In conclusion, I'm not saying the online lifestyle we are now living is not good, in fact, it's one of the best lifestyle technology has brought to us, but if we should go by it all alone without the physical lifestyle we have once lived and still partially living, then the end might spelled doom for the human race.
