A Robotic companion is okay
Greetings!

Having a companion in one's life is not just for the fun of it as it helps one to move fast in life and also saves us from the act of loneliness. No wonder in the garden of Eden God commanded Eve to come forth from the rib of the man, Adam. God even knows that it's not good for a man to be alone and that's why he gave Eve to Adam.
Companionship is not just an ordinary thing. All humans need one person or the other to survive in life. Without the presence of others in our lives, it might be kind of difficult for us humans to exist as no man or human is an island of his or her own.
Having said so much about companionship and humans, I would like to delve into the topic of the prompt which is all about, “Robot companion.”
To me, there's no companion that will not do me, being robotic or human, I'm all fine and okay by whatever kind of companionship that comes my way. The reason being that I would not allow the unavailability of humans to deny me of having someone who would be of help and assistance to me. Also, I would not let the lack of emotions in Robots to deny me of having one as a friend or companion.
As for me, having a robot as a companion should not be a problem even with the robot having emotions or feelings which might affect the way the robots do things. One thing is that, I would know that I'm not dealing with humans and no matter what mistake made by the robot, I would bear it having it in mind that the robot is not human.
Even if the robot fails to yield to my command, I would not make a crime out of it, Afterall, humans can also make mistakes and to be candid with us, some humans are even wicked that they might do evil to one even with their emotions and feelings. Why then should I be worried about the lack of emotions and feelings in a robot that I believe can serve me better than humans. Anytime any day, I would love to have a robot as a companion.

!LOLZ robots as companions would be a real adventure to explore. But on the other hand. Once these robots are well programmed, they carry out their jobs to the letter, except when they malfunction. This is where the onus lies. What if I am tired of turning on certain operations on the robot or mistakenly press a wrong function? That will bring struggle and terrible issues in the home with a robot. The result may be fatal. Robots can actually help us, but may not replace the function of humans in our lives. Thank you for sharing.
