Now, a good and wonderful day to all lovers of science and of course lovers of anything strange, bizarre and somewhat kind of mysterious but still science-based and explainable through science , you have stumbled on the right post that would make you wonder if some Natural phenomenon are actually natural phenomenons or just nature playing tricks on us.

To be direct and simple, we would be looking at an environmental phenomenon called blood rain, yeah Blood Rain which is very intriguing and of course completely unrelated to vampires trust me.

So, what is blood rain, you ask? Well, it is not related to vampires like I said earlier, I promise. So erase any association you might be having right now with vampire. You see blood rain is actually a meteorological phenomenon, actually an evidence showing that something not so good has been going on lately with the environment.
It is a situation where rainwater appears red or pink due to suspended particles. These suspended particle find their way into normal rain water before dropping to the ground and turns it blood like or pink like color and then you have what we call blood rain, totally not vampire related like I said.

Now imagine a scenerio where let say you got caught in traffic, and then there was some blood rain... probably it the first time you seeing a phenomenon like that and now, you're thinking – Is it safe to be caught in blood rain? Rest assured, and certainly, blood rain is harmless but believe me, there is a phenomenon called the acid rain, now acid rain can be very harmful, you definitely dont want to be caught in that. I would most definitely drop a post on acid rain soon, but till then lets focus on blood rain

Now, back to blood rain, blood rain is usually caused by dust or pollen particles, not, you know, actual blood. So, no need for a shower in holy water afterward.

Yeah one more thing, blood rain isn't a regular occurrence, so if you ever do witness it, consider yourself lucky to have experienced one of Mother Nature's weirdest moments.
You know, I wonder if there's a market for bottled blood rain water. Having a taste of the supernatural!". Now this lead us to next question which some are already thinking 👇

Can you drink blood rain water?

Well people the answer is a resounding NO! I repeat a resounding NO! Look at it from this angle, even normal rain shouldn't be taken in into the body system due to the fact that it could contain chemical contaminants, and that of course might lead to or gradually lead to serious health consequences except if proper purification can be done, in which it is then being made safe for drinking, then by all means drink the purified version and just keep glancing at the unpurified, it necessary for your health. Health is wealth.

For a better understanding of what blood rain and what it all about have a look at this video- in which a solid breakdown is being done on blood rain and everything and anything associated with it 👇

video by its aumsum time

Now if you watch the above video patiently and to the end of course together with what you have been reading so far, you should now have a perfect understanding of blood rain, if you still don't get it, well read and watch the video again

In conclusion, blood rain might not be the norm, but it sure one of the weirdest thing mother nature has made us experience.
So, next time you see those crimson drops falling from the sky, remember to embrace the weirdness and maybe even do a little rain dance – just make sure you're not wearing your favorite white shirt!

Thanks for reading, Sayonara 🖐️

Rainwater contains water and whatever particulates were in the air when the clouds formed. If you let rain water evaporate in a glass; the particulates will remain on the glass.

It is usually just dust and minerals. For that matter the particulates can be beneficial to plants, but rain water can be problematic. Famously the Amazon Rainforest depends on dust storms from Africa for certain minerals.
