How to Tokenize/Mint your Artwork for Sale on NFT Showroom using just your Mobile (Detailed step-by-step process)

Oh my God !

Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, artlovers and of course NFT Lover, Oh boy! something has been making a fuss (wish there was a better word) in the showroom and its none other than my very own sam9999 NFT 💪.

Yep folks, you might want to get some headphones as this second one speaks volumes that has a high tendency of bursting some ear drums permanently 😁. Now is this really a fuss? Well of course it is, damn sure it is, because not everybody owns an NFT in the showroom (nftshowroom) let alone owning two . I feel like a million buck right now. I mean, I own two Nfts and some people own, well nothiiiiiing ! no offense. None taken right 👍

But frankly how would you be on hive and not own an NFT in Nftshowroom when the minting fee is just 3.333 swap.hive ? Where did it all go wrong lol ...

Okay, okay, now aside the fact that the minting fee is hyper affordable, I was able to mint with just my phone and of course some brain cells if you know what I mean 😜 . Yeah I proudly fall into the 10% who own an nft on hive in @nftshowroom, most likely less than that but let keeps it at that you know. Again I did this using just my phone nothing more nothing less.

Honestly minting with my phone wasn't the plan. I was forced to result to using just my mobile for this purpose as my system lost power due to an unexpected power outage which lasted for a couple of days.

Now frivolities aside, lets move to the purpose of this post. There is a chance that you or maybe someone out there on hive have been trying to mint their artwork for sale on #nftshowroom but have not been able to, due one reason or the other, yeah I know right, life is full of shit, but you know what they say if life gives you lemon, then make some what? That right people, make some lemonade and make it tasty 😋

And yes! maybe you reading this and dont have an idea that you can use your phone for Minting in Nftshowroom or maybe you actually do but don't know how to go about it. If you fall in any of this categories, abracadabra skatush ! I would show you how to make some lemonade, sorry I mean I would show you how to mint on Nftshowroom using nothing but your phone.

Lets begin the tutorial 👇

How to Tokenize/Mint your Artwork for Sale on NFT Showroom using just your Mobile

First thing first, you would need to have hive keychain for mobiles, you can download this on playstore or apple store as Nftshowroom only allows you to login using your hive keychain linked to your hive account

• With the above in place, open your hive keychain for mobiles and select browser

• Select the keychain browser as shown in the screenshot below

• Once you have selected the keychain browser, type in https://www.nftshowroom.com in the address bar and proceed

• Once you are in the site interphase, now click login at the top right corner

• After selecting login, insert your hive username in the username bar, then select "login with keychain"

• Select confirm, once done, you are logged in to the nftshowroom

Now we are in the showroom, the next thing we want to do is to mint our art for sale

• If you have successfully logged in, you should see your Hive account profile pic. Select it 👇

• Then select "Tokenize"

Note: To successfully Tokenize/mint your art for sale, you need to have at least 3.333 swap.hive. You can get swap.hive by exchanging your accout hive for swap.hive here is a tutorial on that by @bswap.

Trust me converting your hive to swap.hive to tokenize your art doesnt take time, just do it if you dont have swap.hive in your hive wallet

• At this point select a thumbnail image from your gallery and also the Nft file itself

• Once created, proceed to add the collection name, creation date, art description, title, etc . Tick all necessary boxes, then select "Mint NFT" as shown in the screenshot below 👇

On Selecting "Mint NFT" , your NFT is tokenized.
Next we proceeding placing it for sale bt placing a price tag for it. To do that ;

• Select "all created art"

• Then select your tokenized art, then select manage by scrolling downwards and sideways.

• Once you have selected manage, the tokenized art will be added to cart. Select this cart in the top left corner.

• Once you have selected "cart", select sell and place the price you want for sale of your the NFT in swap.hive

• Then select sell, once done , your art is now available for sale as an NFT.

With that, you are done tokenizing your art and placing it for sale as an Nft. If you wish you can proceed to promoting it on hive via @alienarthive in collaboration with @Nftshowroom and @ocd .
