All that caffeine and sugar is also quit addictive. I used to drink soda daily but stopped buying it at the grocery store a number of years ago (It's also a lot more expensive than it used to be). Now I consume it much more rarely. Sometimes when going out to eat and definitely whenever I go to the movie theater for example...

Trust me, the fact that you consume soda rarely now, your body will definitely thank you for it . It a good thing it got more expensive, otherwise 😊.

A local conveniece store had a sale on a super-sized soda. The big size cost lesss than the small. So, I ordered the big soda and drank it.

I then got really thirsty.

I craved more soda.

The fact that the big size soda failed to quench thirst made me realize that something was seriously wrong with the product.

Thank God you realized that, some won't, and might even end up going to get another which is more dangerous.

Nothing beats taking adequate water to flush out toxins and impurities, explain the reason you felt really thirsty

Sorry about the delayed reply.

I suspect that the reason that I was thirsty after drinking a huge soda was because of the high sugar content.

It is the same reason that drinking salt water fails to quench thirst. The fluid in the soda was fully saturated with sugars.
