The AI Market Keeps Growing: As Amazon Plans To Invest $100m In Generative AI Center

AI news has being catching so much attention in the tech space for sometime now, with most tech industries drifting their work to AI, or employing AI for problem solving situations.

It is no news, that AI can now create pictures, make videos of anyone, generate vast/multiple answers for researches. This has increased the love for AI by its users.

Big company firms like Microsoft, Google, Meta, Alibaba, etc, are known to have spent huge amount on this AI project, due to its efficiency and accuracy it provides for this tech giants.

The recent company to get involve in this scheme is Amazon Web Services which is controlled by the popular Amazon company. AWS provides on-demand cloud computing platforms and APIs to individuals, companies, and governments, on a metered, pay-as-you-go basis.

In a recent post by the ceo, he stated that..

"We continue to hear from companies around the world looking for help realizing the promise of generative #AI. That’s why I’m pleased to announce a $100M investment in our new @awscloud Generative AI Innovation Center, where our experts will work with customers to build unique solutions that harness the power of this transformative technology".

This means that AI would be greatly used in giving best cloud computing services to its customers.

My Opinion

Should i say this is my opinion or fear ?. I totally agree that the use of AI is a welcome development to the new age of technology, which has make work more efficient and effective, but i feel that lots of workers might loss their jobs to this AI.

I don't want to discourage the use of this AI, but lots of humans might just get affected along this recent development.

In conclusion

The recent development of AI is increasing steadily, with large tech firms getting involve, even internet users are also making use of this AI, by generating photos, videos, etc for personal use. This AI era, seems to be another development no one wants to be left out from.
