if a place only accepts digital payment, I will shop somewhere else. There are certain things that I will use the QR payment for but it is kind of alarming to me how so many people are so willing to have all of their transactions logged. It's like they are practically begging for authoritarianism
I agree - many people do not want to make decisions and do not want to take responsibility for them, so they are ready to delegate authority in exchange for freedom.
