While there are incredibly positive possibilities like discovering new proteins to fight diseases or a cure to cancer, there are also endless downsides. Also, our lives are becoming more and more networked online, from your TV to your refrigerator to your ring camera, not to mention your phone. Like a gigantic distributed network for and AGI to utilize. It's mind boggling and terrifying and it seems there is no off ramp. I don't know, I just don't know.
