The brick castle located in the center of Milan

Hello everyone!

A few photos and information from my visit to the brick castle located in the center of Milan. The Sforzesco Castle (Castello Sforzesco) was built in the mid-15th century and was later rebuilt and expanded many times. It was the seat of the Sforza family and now houses several different museums.

Witam wszystkich!

Kilka zdjęć oraz informacje ze z mojego zwiedzania ceglanego zamku znajdującego się w centrum Mediolanu. Zamek Sforzów (Castello Sforzesco) zbudowany został w połowie XV wieku, później wielokrotnie był przebudowywany oraz rozbudowywany. Był siedzibą rodu Sforzów, obecnie znajduje się w nim kilka różnych muzeów.

The main entrance is on the southeast side in Piazza Castello, northwest of Piazza il Duomo.

Główne wejście znajduje się od strony południowo-wschodniej przy Piazza Castello, na północny zachód od Piazza il Duomo.

After passing through the gate, we find ourselves in the large main courtyard, with two circular towers behind us in the corners.

Po przejściu przez bramę znajdujemy się na dużym głównym dziedzińcu, gdzie za nami w rogach znajdują się dwie okrągłe wieże.

On the other side there is another gate and a tower.

Po drugiej stronie znajduje się kolejna brama oraz wieża.

After passing through the gate, we reach one of two smaller courtyards.

Po przejściu przez bramę trafiamy do jednego z dwóch mniejszych dziedzińców.

On the north-west side, outside the castle walls, there is a large Sempione Park.

Po stronie północno-zachodniej poza murami zamku znajduje się duży Park Sempione.
