UNBOXING: Enfriador portatil de la marca Electronics [Esp/Eng]

¡Hola! ¿Cómo han estado amigos?
Recientemente, hice la compra de un enfriador portátil y estaba esperando a probarlo por al menos una semana para luego compartir mi experiencia usando este producto y creo que es importante mencionar que me encuentro en una zona muy caliente.

Seguramente se preguntará desde un principio lo siguiente: ¿Por qué no compras un aire acondicionado? Y la respuesta es que para hacerlo debemos de hacer un par de arreglos aquí en casa que ya se están realizando, pero, para llegar a la compra de ese aire acondicionado aún falta un poco y es que, no podemos primero realizar la compra, la instalación y luego todos los arreglos porque podría ser un poco más engorroso. Aunque, el calor últimamente ha estado bastante fuerte y, desde hace meses, estuve buscando una opción un poco más económica que me sirva "mientras tanto".

Recently, I made the purchase of a portable cooler and I was waiting to test it for at least a week and then share my experience using this product and I think it is important to mention that I am in a very hot area.

Surely you ask yourself from the beginning the following question: Why do not you buy an air conditioner? And the answer is that to do so we must make a couple of arrangements here at home that are already being made, but, to get to the purchase of that air conditioner is still a bit missing and is that, we can not first make the purchase, installation and then all the arrangements because it could be a little more cumbersome. Although, the heat lately has been quite strong and, for months, I was looking for a slightly cheaper option that will serve me “meanwhile”.

Había escuchado de los enfriadores portátiles, pero los que había visto eran muy pequeños y me generaba la duda de si cumplía con la función principal que es mantener fresco el espacio donde trabajo, los equipos y mi persona. Así que de momento desistí de la idea, pero, la semana pasada salí a visitar una tienda donde venden unos bolsos escolares que me gustan mucho y, como necesitaba cambiar el mío, fui a buscarlo y para mi gran sorpresa, me encontré en la exhibición de electrodomésticos de la tienda con estos enfriadores portátil y sinceramente lo considere como una señal de que debía comprarlo.

I had heard of portable coolers, but the ones I had seen were very small and generated me the doubt if it fulfilled the main function that is to keep cool the space where I work, equipment and my person. So for the moment I gave up the idea, but last week I went to visit a store where they sell some school bags that I really like and, as I needed to change mine, I went to look for it and to my great surprise, I found in the display of appliances in the store with these portable coolers and sincerely I considered it as a sign that I should buy it.

Revisé los precios de ambos equipos y las características. Ambos eran prácticamente del mismo tamaño, pero, con la diferencia de que uno tenía mayor capacidad de agarrar agua, y un espacio bastante grande para colocar el hielo y, en esta ocasión me fui por el de mayor capacidad que tuvo un costo de 51.98$

I reviewed the prices of both machines and their characteristics. Both were practically the same size, but, with the difference that one had greater capacity to hold water, and a fairly large space to place the ice and, on this occasion I went for the larger capacity which had a cost of 51.98$.

Este es el enfriador portátil, es de la marca Electronics, tiene una capacidad para agarrar 10 litros de agua, cuenta con una ventana que es por donde sale el aire frío. Este mide como alrededor de unos 18 Cm de largo por 12 Cm de ancho. Sus rejillas horizontales se pueden desplazar unos pocos centímetros hacia arriba o abajo, y las rejillas verticales sí funcionan de forma automática presionando uno de los botones y, ya decide si quieres que giren o mantenerlas fijas hacia un lado.

This is the portable cooler, it is of the Electronics brand, it has a capacity to hold 10 liters of water, it has a window that is where the cold air comes out. It measures about 18 cm long and 12 cm wide. Its horizontal grids can be moved a few centimeters up or down, and the vertical grids do work automatically by pressing one of the buttons and you decide if you want them to rotate or keep them fixed to one side.

El panel de control es bastante simple de usar, ya que todo se encuentra muy bien identificado y, solo escoges las velocidades para que eche aire, si deseas activar el sistema de "enfriamiento" y, si deseas, hacer que las rejillas giren.
Para encender solo basta con escoger una de las velocidades y luego para apagar si seleccionas el botón OFF.

The control panel is quite simple to use, as everything is very well identified and you just choose the speeds to blow air, if you want to activate the “cooling” system and if you want to make the grills rotate.
To turn on just choose one of the speeds and then to turn off if you select the OFF button.

Este enfriador viene con unas ruedas que si deseas puedes colocarlos y trae seis de estos embaces azules los cuales tienen el fin de que llenes de agua y los metas a congelar para que luego puedas colocar en el tanque por donde se agrega el agua, para que así pueda mantener el agua fría cuando actives la opción de "enfriamiento"

This cooler comes with wheels that if you want you can place them and brings six of these blue containers which are intended to fill with water and put them to freeze so you can then place in the tank where the water is added, so that it can keep the water cold when you activate the “cooling” option.

Atrás del enfriador podremos visualizar el filtro que tiene y el cual cumple la función de que se humedece cuando activamos la opción de "enfriamiento" y, básicamente de ese modo es como el aparato debería de iniciar a expulsar aire frío, siempre y cuando este filtro este húmedo, por eso es importante verificar los niveles de agua y, bueno, ya desde aquí desarmas el equipo para cuando corresponda el mantenimiento.

Behind the cooler we can visualize the filter that has and which fulfills the function that is moistened when we activate the “cooling” option and, basically that is how the device should start to expel cold air, as long as this filter is wet, so it is important to check the water levels and, well, and from here you disassemble the equipment for maintenance when appropriate.

Bueno, ya aquí les comparto un pequeño video que es cómo funciona cuando activamos la opción de "enfriamiento". Básicamente, aquí, la bomba que tiene por dentro lo que hace es que extrae el agua hacia la bandeja, y luego este permite que caiga agua hacia el otro espacio donde se ven los orificios y de allí pasa a humedecer el filtro. Ah, bueno, pueden visualizar que agregue dos de los envases que trae el equipo, como para que tuviesen una idea.

Ahora, el dato más importante y creo que es el que esperan todo aquel que no ha probado esto..

A pesar de su tamaño, solo es un aparato de uso personal que va a refrescar a las personas que estén cerca de él, pero, mucho mejor si es solo para refrescar a una o dos personas. El otro punto es que mientras el agua esté más fría, siempre será mucho mejor y, los envases muchas veces no duran ni dos horas congelados para mantener el agua fría y no, no tienen capacidad para mantener una habitación fría aun teniendo todas las puertas y ventanas cerradas.

Well, here I share with you a little video of how it works when we activate the “cooling” option. Basically, here, the pump that has inside what it does is that it extracts the water into the tray, and then it allows water to fall into the other space where you see the holes and from there it goes to moisten the filter. Ah, well, you can see that I added two of the containers that the equipment comes with, just to give you an idea.

Now, the most important piece of information, and I think it is the one that everyone who has not tried this is expecting.

In spite of its size, it is only a device for personal use that will refresh the people that are close to it, but, much better if it is only to refresh one or two people. The other point is that the colder the water is, the better it will always be and the containers often do not even last two hours frozen to keep the water cold and no, they do not have the capacity to keep a room cold even with all the doors and windows closed.

Bueno, amigos, en lo personal, la compra no fue del todo mala porque logré mantenerme fresca y mantener el equipo. Lo único es que si me alejo del enfriador, puedo sentir las otras zonas de la habitación caliente.
