I like the part where you mentioned about "giving away the steering wheel". I think it is important that one critically think about the tools that he is using.

Yeah, the critical thinking still remains on human side. Also at the moment AI cannot cope too well with complex things, thus we still need to have in mind the big picture and drive the solution. Or at least that's the best way to do it from my experience.
Indeed. That's what I had in mind "Seeing the big picture". That way, one would at least be able to set expectation and have a better understanding on how to use the tool itself.
