Hello, going to share some risk factors and protective factors on ovarian cancer.

Risk factors
Age > 45 years
Family history of ovarian cancer, breast cancer, personal history
Number of lifetime ovulations
Caucasian or Asian origin
Nulliparity, infertility, or late menopause
Saturated animal fat, obesity (high BMI)
Genetic predisposition, i.e Turner’s syndrome (dysgerminoma, gonadoblastoma), hereditary ovarian ca—BRCA1 & BRCA2, Lynch-II syndrome
Perineal talc use (possible risk factor)

Protective factors
Use of oral contraceptive pills
Shorter duration of reproductive years
Conditions leading to chronic anovulation
History of breastfeeding
Multiparity
Tubal sterilization (preventing perineal carcinogens)
Prophylactic bilateral salpingectomy or BSO
