I remember running folding@home when I was younger not really knowing what it was doing just to earn the CureCoins that was associated with it. I do hope I helped uncover something with it!
But it's really cool to see tech progress with time! Stuff gets more powerful every year.

I don't remember if I got those coins, but I was running this stuff anyway. I just like the technology.
I definitely did. It wasn't much, probably a few cents worth at the end of all of it. I also only had my shared family laptop at that time with no dedicated GPU. It was a struggle.
