THE SAD REALITY OF BEING A CITIZEN OF AN UNDER-DEVELOPED NATION
It is quite unfortunate how citizens suffer as a result of their country's leaders' actions; they make decisions, and it becomes the responsibility of the citizens to bear the consequences of their actions and inactions. While others are deserving of it, others should be left out of the mess.
The world is, unfortunately, a crazy place. People and nations seek to be powerful, becoming power drunk, and as such, have done more terrible things than this day man can imagine unless they look back at history. Countries conquering other countries' territories, killing and enslaving them and gaining colonies, taking their natural resources forcefully and in the form of an uneven trade, resulting in the development of their countries while under-developing their host nations.
We have heard much about this in history, about how most of these went down, and this keeps a stigma even after generations between nations and against the citizens of such nations.
A country is a country because of the people of that country. It does not exist on its own, except that it has people; these people are called the citizens of these countries. These citizens stand to enjoy the spoils of the act of their government and should also participate in the suffering of their leaders' decision, except in the case where they refuse to eat from the spoils that come of the actions of their leaders.
while the government of the western world and other developed nations have their citizens in heart in their decision making process, making it the reason I believe they should suffer from the decisions of their leaders, other nations in the developing and third world countries should be sympathized with for the actions and inactions of their leaders, these leaders act on their selfish interest and greedy nature and the citizen of these nations who have suffered enough from their leaders decisions should not also suffer from attacks.
It is in these nations that you find corrupt governments where the citizens are suffering, and the government turns a blind eye to the happenings in their nation. It is the citizens who are being treated differently by their government, having to side with one part of the nation favourably and leaving the other side as if to say they do not care about them. A lot of instances where this poor government decision has affected the livelihood of its citizens as well as the general development of its nation, yet the government still keeps a blind eye to what is happening.
Imagine where the government of the nation don’t seem to provide good education, good health facility and other basic amenities and will still refuse to secure its citizens, citizens who are working hard and have decided to have their livelihood through farming but are unable to because of some unexplained clashes and the government who are aware of everything are yet to solve the problem for as long as a decade or even more.
These citizens should be pitied and given a break from attacks because of the unfortunate situation they find themselves in, although it is said that it is the character of the people that always reflects the character of the leaders, but in a sovereign society where there is marginalisation as the father of the day, it is another thing completely.

At this point I think it's the character of the leaders that has reflected so much on the character of the people that it has become a problem that no one wants to tackle alone.
Whenever I hear of terrorist attacks or war clashes and there is civilians casualties, I wonder, do this people just stop and think, what exactly is the crime of the citizens they are killing? The world is just an unfair place.
