This is my entry for the #monomad challenge curated by @monochromes today.

On this sunny day I went back around the edge of the rice fields to look for small animal species, and when I got there I immediately walked and a few minutes later I saw a species of dragonfly Potamarcha congener. And at that time I accidentally saw a dragonfly standing on one of the dry logs.

And at that time I immediately took my smartphone camera and macro lens in my bag. And at that time I immediately approached it very carefully so that the dragonfly would not fly in another direction, and at that time without waiting long I immediately took some close-up portraits that looked very beautiful and graceful, and you can see below some portraits of this dragonfly species.

Potamarcha congener is also known as the yellow-tailed ashy skimmer, common chaser, or swampwatcher.....Wikipedia

Then I walked again, and a few steps I walked and then I found this Oxya grasshopper species. And its shape is quite small with a color that looks very interesting, and at that time I saw it crawling on one of the wild leaves and at that time I immediately took some pictures that looked very beautiful and graceful, and you can see below some pictures of this grasshopper species that I took today.

Oxya is a genus of grasshoppers (Caelifera: Acrididae) found in Africa and Asia (where some species may be called "rice grasshoppers").....Wikipedia
