Monomad | Needle dragonfly & caterpillars in the rice fields and they look very beautiful and unique
This is my entry for the #monomad challenge curated by @monochromes today.
Hi everyone, how are you? I hope you have a nice day and are in good condition. Today I went back around the rice fields to look at the rice plants and while looking at the rice plants, and I didn't forget to bring a smartphone camera and macro lens in my bag, because yesterday I saw several species of small animals playing a lot in this rice field area, and that's why on this occasion I want to hunt small animal species in this rice field area.
And when I arrived at the rice field and at that time I immediately saw my rice plants and a moment later I saw this needle dragonfly Ischnura senegalensis, and at that time I saw him standing on one of the rice leaves and at that time this species of dragonfly was preying on a small insect, and without waiting long I immediately took several different angles of the picture and it looked very beautiful and elegant.
Ischnura senegalensis, also known variously as common bluetail, marsh bluetail, ubiquitous bluetail, African bluetail, and Senegal golden dartlet, is a widespread damselfly of the family Coenagrionidae.....Wikipedia
And all my friends can see below some portrait images of this species of dragonfly, and I hope you like it and can enjoy it.
Then I also found this Theretra green caterpillar which I found on the edge of a rice field, and at that time I immediately took this green caterpillar and put it on one of the stalks of wild grass, and immediately I took several portraits which looked very beautiful and unique because this green caterpillar has its own characteristics, and you can see them below.
Theretra is a genus of moths in the family Sphingidae.....Wikipedia
