Green caterpillars & snout beetles which look very attractive and beautiful in the rice fields
Good evening everyone, I hope your day is always pleasant and in good condition, a few days ago I went back around the rice fields to look at my rice plants which had just been planted a month ago, and while looking at the rice plants I went back to hunting for small animal objects that were there on the edge of rice fields.
In the middle of my walk and a few minutes later I found a green caterpillar or better known by another name, namely Xylophanes tersa, which was crawling on one of the wild leaf stems and at that time I immediately took my smartphone camera and macro lens in my bag.
And without waiting long I immediately took several close-up of this green caterpillar which looks very beautiful and unique, and you can see it below.
These caterpillars have a rather large body shape with a green or other color, and these caterpillars are a pest threat to agriculture because they like to attack plants such as rice and other vegetables, and people here eradicate them with caterpillar repellent spray.
Xylophanes tersa, the tersa sphinx, is a moth of the family Sphingidae. The species was first described by Carl Linnaeus in 1771.....Wikipedia
Then I also discovered another species of small animal, namely Snout beetles or better known by another name, namely Curculionidae, because of its rather small body shape and a very unique and interesting snout, and at that time I immediately took several portraits which looked very beautiful and cool, and hope you like it.
The Curculionidae are a family of weevils, commonly called snout beetles or true weevils.....Wikipedia
