Story of me and my Mobile

The mobile phone is the most essential device among other communication devices in practice nowadays. It is quite impossible to imagine spending a day, even a few hours, without having a mobile phone. It may be a bar phone or a smart mobile phone that is mandatory for everyone. Mobile phone has a good or bad impact on people. Mobile phones occupy a daily need and requirement; in most cases, no one in society out from this addiction. Especially smart mobile plays the most important role; it is not about communicating or making a call at all. Smart Mobile is the most important entertainment device, You can take pictures and videos with your smart mobile, share them with friends and family, and also share on social platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc. Not only these, you can watch a play, a movie, along with browsing and searching for any information on a smart mobile. You can read books, take notes, send emails, and get connected to everyone through an internet connection. The most important and remarkable thing is income; you can make money by blogging, making content for YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and so on. So, we can say, a smart mobile is more than a device; it has its legacy and importance for all of us, which may be different from person to person.

Bangladesh is a developing country, we got the chance to take the opportunity later than the developed countries. Since it came into the Bangladeshi market, it was high-priced and not affordable for normal people, including me. At the very beginning, it was a show-off device for the rich people. And most of the people had an ambition to be the owner of a mobile, although it was not a smartphone. At that time, classic, or a bar mobile phone, whatever it was, but it was unique and felt luxurious for that time. Although it was not affordable for the normal people, the people of Bangladesh grabbed the benefit of using mobile phone calls through the mobile phone call service on a pay-per-minute basis at that time. Even though it was costly but it opened the door for income for the mobile phone call service shopkeeper. A mobile phone call service shop can be found anywhere in the city or the village. People are connected well with their friends, family, and business people by this trend, which is significant. The mobile phone call service shop owner expanded their service to every corner of the village, which means door to door, with the mobile phone call service. If someone had a call from abroad, the shop owner of the mobile phone call service would reach out to the door of the call recipient, which was excellent service, but costly because of incoming call charges. Most of the village areas were out of network at that time, even in the cities’ corners, then people used an antenna to reach the mobile network, which was annoying but workable.

I bought my mobile at the year of 2002, which was a Siemens, a button phone, but the experience was excellent. At that time, I was in service, my workplace was out of network, which is why I used an antenna in my home and always connected my mobile to that all the time. I frequently changed my mobile phone several times, because of updating to new models’ features, and also for loss and broken issues by some different incidents. There were so many sweet-sour memories with that. When the issues of networking and microphones occurred, I went to the mobile repair shop. At that time, I liked the NOKIA mobile set, the last one was NOKIA N90, which was excellent. Unfortunately, by the year of 2010, I had faced a robbery when coming from my home district to Dhaka, driving myself with my wife. I was injured by the stabbing of the robber and lost my phone along with money, jewelry of my wife, and the robber broke the side door glass of my car, which was a bad experience. After that, I bought a new iPhone, from then to, till now, iPhone is the best choice because of its amazing features and security. No other Android mobile phone can compete with the iPhone till today, and it’s my opinion.

I had faced a big loss in business, I had to sell out my iPad and laptop due to a shortage of money in the year 2019. At that time mobile phone was the only device to communicate with family and email for business, all of my work was done with my mobile phone, and it was so effective and important for me, I often realize that. It changed my thoughts on utilization a phone for day-to-day life. Now I’m using iPhone 16 Pro Max, and only wish to change for updating with upcoming 17 Pro Max by September 2025. And iPhone is my favorite band, as my daughter also likes it. I love everything that my daughter chooses for me.
