My Gmail Storage is full and Google recoomend me for One Subscription

The Internet without Google is incomplete because we use many Google products and services in our daily lives. Most of the services are free but with certain limits, and now Google as a company is trying to get more revenue from individuals. Some of the Google products that I use almost every day are Google Maps email, photos, drive search, etc. When we create a new account then it comes with 15GB of storage and this storage can be used across all the products. This can be sufficient for basic users but if you are storing more data then it will not be sufficient for you. My Gmail storage is completely used so I am getting a warning type of email from Google that I need to take action on this storage else they will disable the email sending and receiving on my account.

I see some recommendations from Google to subscribe for Google and I can get additional storage. There are plans that we need to choose and it is based on a subscription model. So once you subscribe to the plan then you need to pay it regularly. It also gives the option to pay for the annual cost and there is some savings also.

So Google recommends a basic plan for 100GB storage. This will cost me ₹130 per month and on the same page it is also offering me a premium plan where I can get storage of 2 terabytes that comes for 650 Rs per month. I am not a heavy user so the premium plan is not for me anyway I am not going for AI AI-based plan which is way more expensive because if I can use AI for free then why should I pay for it? I understand that certain features are available for premium users only but I do not use much AI so it's not for me.

So now I'm trying to check more about these plans and here is what I can see where currently I am in the 15GB free plan. They have shared about three plans whereas they are recommending me to go for basic. They are also offering me a discount for the next two month's subscriptions so instead of 130 it will cost me ₹35 per month. So this way you'll be able to save ₹190 on this as part of your offer.

These are annual plans with some discount and one needs to pay in one book if one opts for the annual plan. This way there are multiple payment options and there is no need to pay through credit card only but when you go for the monthly plan then a credit card is mandatory because it will be a subscription-based plan.

I'm not a heavy user and I don't store much data on google drive but because 15GB is used so I'm getting notifications that I need to buy the plan for extended storage. I have not decided on the plan and I will spend some more time to see which one is good for me but at the same time also I am trying to see if I can delete some data or download it on my laptop to clean the storage. I don't want to be in a situation where I need to pay Google regularly for this space. I am thinking of trying my best first before going for the subscription so let's see how it goes and how I can manage it better to avoid unnecessary costs if possible.
