Finally Vodafone idea is moving ahead with 5G deployment
Hello and Namaste Everyone,
There are only 3 private players in telecom industry. One more company is there which is run but the government but it's not able to compete with other players. Jio is the biggest telecom company with market share. After Jio, Airtel is the next big company in market share. Vo stands at 3rd rank and BSNL (company run by the government) in at the last.
Ayush Vodafone Idea SIM and this company is called VI in short. Currently talk to companies are providing 5G services in most of its circles in India. Vodafone Idea is still running on 4G network however they have been trying to deploy 5G for quite some time and finally there is a good news. The other company which is known as BSNL is still struggling with its 5g. Altho they have started the process from 3G to 4G upgrade first and once that is done then they will move ahead with transition from 4G to 5G. This is going to take some time and hopefully in next couple of years BSNL would be able to deploy its 5G network in major cities in India.
Now Vodafone Idea has finalized its vendor for five zero loud and this is Nokia which will be providing equipments to Vodafone Idea. This year the company has also collected some funds on the market and some part of the fund will be used in 5G deployment.
Nokia on Saturday announced that it has been selected by Vodafone Idea as a major 4G and 5G partner in India. This comes days after Cash-strapped, debt-ridden, Vi announced that it has concluded a deal worth $3.6 billion with Nokia, Ericsson and Samsung for supply of network equipment over a period of three years.
I use vodafone idea mobile services and this company is only providing 4g services at the moment. I never thought of switching to another service provider like jio or airtel because my phone is also not 5g enabled. I wanted to upgrade my phone first this year but now that plan is changed. I will wait for the vodafone to launch 5g and once it's available then I will buy one. Currently I am happy with 4G and I also got the battery replaced for my phone so it works well now..
No point to spend money now and I will do this next year only. 4g is not bad and it works well so for the internet speed there is no problem at all. Now because I have seen the update on the 5G deployment that company is working on so hopefully they will launch it next year. I will be surely upgrading from 4G to 5G with my new phone but this year it will not happen. I will be doing it next year and prefer to do this when the 5G services are available from Vodafone Idea. I have no plan to Port this is why it make sense to buy a 5G enabled phone when services are available.
The company has also mentioned that they are going to keep the prices competitive even with 5g. I hop dekhi the prices competitive with the current 5G service providers and this will help them have more uses with them. Telecom market is very much competitive this time because there are limited players and the user base is growing.
Thank you so much
