The robot that washes the dishes, folds the clothes and speaks naturally.

Figure AIpresented its newest humanoid, the Figure 3, I confess that I was impressed with the fluidity of the movements of this robot, capable of folding clothes, washing dishes and maintaining natural conversations, the robot marks a notable advance towards the coexistence between humans and machines in domestic and professional environments.

At 1.68 cm tall and with a lighter, more flexible structure redesigned to move fluidly in both homes and industrial warehouses, Figure 3 is truly a new version, not just a name change, but what really impresses is the way it perceives, understands and reacts.

Thanks to Hélix, the company's internal artificial intelligence that combines vision, language and movement to learn directly by observing humans. Each hand of the figure has its own cameras and sensors on the tips of the fingers capable of detecting variations of only 3 grams, the weight of a paper clip. This precision allows the robbers to take glasses without breaking them, adjust the force when holding tools and manipulate fragile objects with a delicacy uncommon in machines.

The main cameras now process twice as many frames per second with a 60% larger field of view and 25% lower latency, giving you faster reflexes and a remarkably realistic spatial sense. All of this makes the robot look and behave eerily human.

Unlike traditional industrial models, Figure 3 has a body covered with washable fabric and padded with foam instead of exposed metal, reducing the risk of accidents in interactions with people.

Its wireless charging system is another highlight, coils integrated into the feet allow it to recharge energy by touching a base, reaching up to 2 kW of power, a full charge guarantees 5 hours of continuous operation, communication has also evolved, the new speaker is four times more powerful and the microphone was relocated to capture voices more clearly.

The result is a fluid and natural conversation without the metallic sound typical of voice assistants, in corporate environments, Figure 3 promises efficiency, its actuators double the speed and torque in relation to the previous generation, matching the pace of a human worker, it can separate parts, manipulate plastic, and package products or even operate machines with great precision and safety.

While most humanoid robots are still manufactured by hand, Figure AI is committed to large-scale industrialization. The Figure 3 model is the first to be produced online with die casting and injection molding, reducing costs and assembly time.

The company's new factory called BotQ has the capacity to produce 12,000 robots per year with the goal of reaching 100,000 units by 2029.

Sorry for my Ingles, it's not my main language. The images were taken from the sources used or were created with artificial intelligence
