The perfect dance partner.

The perfect dance partner.

Souce

The lucky ones who were at Waic 2025, the World Artificial Intelligence Conference in Shanghai, came across the scene of two humanoid robots dancing in perfect synchrony as if they were alive. The Chinese company PNDbotics presented its two most advanced robots, Adam, the agile and powerful humanoid, and Adam-U, its twin, specialized in motion capture and data collection.

What once seemed like a movie spectacle became a reality before the eyes of the public, Adam is a 1.60 cm tall and 60 kg humanoid robot with 25 patented actuators that guarantee smooth, powerful and incredibly human movements, he has 5 degrees of freedom arms, responsive legs and an articulated waist, allowing him to dance, maintain balance and manipulate objects with dexterity.

For its part, Adam-u is a 31 degrees of freedom data platform that includes skilled hands, articulated head and binocular vision sensors, it was developed for training with extremely high-precision motion capture, together they form a true learning and performance ecosystem.

Adam-U uses the motion capture suit to accurately record human movements that are then replicated by Adam in real time, and the result, a stunning synchronized dance with gestures that approach human expressiveness.

Coordination between hardware and software along with reinforcement learning transforms movements into high-performance robotic choreography.

Sorry for my Ingles, it's not my main language. The images were taken from the sources used or were created with artificial intelligence

It feels like we’re getting closer to the future we only see in movies. Imagine one day going to a concert or dance show with robots performing live.

In many points we are already in the future of films, and there will be no profession that AI can replace, but I hope that the technology is headed in the right direction.

May you be very well!
