Tesollo presented a new robotic hand called DG-5F-S, designed to take the dexterity of robots to a new level, it has five fingers 20 degrees of freedom, that is, multiple independent movements, like a human hand, which allows a much more natural articulation and even with all that complexity, it maintains an extremely compact size and weight, just 21 cm and around 880 grams, enough to integrate without humanoid robots without compromising balance or performance.

What really draws attention is in its behavior, because the joints use a reverse drive system that allows it to absorb impacts and adapt to the environment. This means that the robot can interact with objects more safely without breaking what it holds, but the evolution is not only in the mechanics, it is also in the strategy.

And instead of focusing solely on numbers and specifications, it just prioritized something essential, integration, that is, making this hand actually work on robots that already exist, this represents an important change, the company also offers a simpler version with 15 degrees of freedom designed for applications that require less complexity and more efficiency, but the race does not stop there.

Other giants are also advancing in this same territory, Samsung, for example, is developing systems based on tendons that imitate the human muscle structure, moving the motors towards the forearm, this can bring more natural and precise movements.

And perhaps the most critical point of all, touch, sensors capable of detecting pressure, texture, even the moment when an object begins to slide, allowing the robot to adjust the strength of its grip in real time. Exactly as we do, without realizing it, and if robots can already receive hands like these, any task will be easy to execute.
